    About the department
    Novo Nordisk Product Supply Biopharm is a manufacturing organisation with around 2,500 engaged colleagues. The Data Scientist will join our Biopharm Standardisation & Optimisation department along with 15 dedicated colleagues.

    The department mainly consists of project managers who are responsible for supporting Biopharm with project management, Lean expertise and standardisation in order to optimise Biopharm processes. Within the department we have a small team dedicated to Data Science. The department is based in Gentofte but does project work on all Biopharm production sites.

    The position
    As Data Scientist you will work with a vast amount of data sources describing our manufacturing processes, costs and quality measurements of the products that Biopharm delivers to our patients.

    Based on direction from Management in Biopharm you will work together with colleagues to identify the specific needs for information and solutions. You will collaborate closely with our project managers and process experts working on process optimisations.

    Please note that this is a 24-month temporary position the possibility of extension.

    Qualifications
    You have a relevant Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Economy or similar. You have proven excellent results from your studies and a solid understanding of data, statistical models, machine learning algorithms, relevant programming languages and tools such as Python (required), R, Tableau and Alteryx and see yourself as a fast learner with a solution and service oriented mind set.

    You have a key interest in transforming data to insights for the line of business, solid language skills in English and strong communication skills written and verbally. You are outgoing, structured and an executer who gets the job done on time without compromising the quality in your deliverables. You enjoy building new solutions for your customers and you take a pride in helping your colleagues across various functions in a global oriented business. You deliver solutions and enjoy working in an informal atmosphere where flexibility and responsibility goes hand in hand.
