About the department
Diabetes Finished Products in Novo Nordisk is seeking an engaged student for a salaried full-time internship to site Hillerød Assembly department for a period of 5-6 months. Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) represents a global part of the Novo Nordisk organisation, employing approximately 6,200 employees in Denmark, China, Brazil, France and USA.

The position
We are looking for an intern in our Technical Support team in the Assembly Department, part of Finished Products. You will report to an Associate Manager and support the whole team, made of technicians and process supporters. The department is responsible for 24/7 production of FlexPen® and FlexTouch® on four production lines. You will be an active member of the team supporting the associate manager as well as the team in various daily tasks.

In the Technical Support team you will be responsible to maintain and improve performance of the assembly lines. Key tasks include but are not limited to driving problem solving on the lines and data analysis to improve performance.

  • Internship period: 5-6 months
  • Working hours: Full-time position
  • Start date: 1 Sep 2019
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required

We are looking for an intern, who is passionate about initiating and driving continuous improvements in a production context. You are analytical, structured and comfortable managing your own time and deliverables. Data analysis and machine learning are a plus.

Besides this, personality is the key word. You are positive, independent, energetic and flexible. You see solutions instead of problems and you take initiative to implement these solutions. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to make a true difference. In addition, you are ambitious and like to be challenged.

Having an innovative and creative mind-set is a benefit since communication will be an important part of the work.

You are currently studying on your master's degree in an engineering degree (mechanical, data science or production) or any other relevant degree.
