About the department

In Finished Products Ozempic®, we are responsible for the assembly and packaging processes in the Ozempic® production. The department is organised in four strong teams, who are all dedicated to deliver Ozempic® to our patients - in the right quality, at the right cost and at the right time. We ensure production, release, deviation handling and optimisation of our processes.

We are located in Hillerød, where over 70 dedicated Ozempic® colleagues are looking forward to welcome you.

Along with your Team Leader colleagues and local management, you will be part of a leadership network across Diabetes Finished Products, Hillerød that deals with implementation of strategic decisions by using value stream mapping and Hoshin Kanri, and more operational decisions locally in the Ozempic® production.

In our Ozempic® Finished Products department, we are dedicated to deliver strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk in crucial ways by delivering one of our newest and most important products to the market - Ozempic®. The position
You will play a key role in the department as the leader for our support team that consist of 13 highly engaged Process- and GMP supporters across assembly and packaging. The team is responsible for driving both large and small process optimisation projects, handle new compliance requirements and ensure release of our products for shipment. You will be referring to local management and collaborate closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk A/S, and different suppliers.

As Team Leader, you will work closely with your employees to ensure a high level of professionalism, passion and engagement to drive performance by maintaining the team spirit and results. You will create a culture ready to challenge systems, processes and ensure ongoing optimisation. All of this by being a highly visible manager who provides sparring and coaching to your employees on daily basis.

You will ensure transparency, follow up on performance, inspire to simplicity and optimisation and set direction for your team. You will do this by being curious about the processes, being approachable and communicating clearly and effectively in close dialogue with your peers in other leadership positions.

Working in close collaboration with your direct manager you will help maintain and develop the unity in the department and contribute to reaching long term strategic goals.

Qualifications
You are likely having an educational background as an Engineer, Pharmacist, Chemist and/or having years of experience from a production site.

However, the most important thing is to have leadership capabilities and a visible passion for taking up the challenges a leader will meet: If your team isn't working together you know how to solve conflicts and get back on track.

You know how to listen, show respect and analyse problems in a concrete manner that creates solutions. You show engagement and authenticity while working in a production atmosphere with ambitious targets, a high work pace and many daily decisions.
