Are you studying for your Bachelor's or Master's degree and do you want practical experience with business management in Novo Nordisk? Then you might be the new Intern we are looking for in Clinical Trial Application (CTA) Management.

About the department

CTA Management is part of Regulatory Affairs. The department is a centralised operational unit in Novo Nordisk responsible for planning, coordinating and distributing CTA document packages submitted to Health Authorities and Ethics Committees worldwide. We are a team of 10 highly motivated and engaged employees situated in Søborg, Denmark.

We are working closely with our stakeholders in HQ and affiliates to continuously improve our processes to adapt and ensure compliance with the increasingly complex regulatory environment. The position

You will support our department in communication and coordination of CTA approvals with our regulatory and clinical affiliates. In this role you will work on data reporting and feed timely and clear information to the organisation, you will monitor ongoing and planned activities to enable forecasting of future commitments and workload. Furthermore, you will standardise templates and process documents and carry out day-to-day tasks such as registration and indexing of documents related to clinical trials and publishing activities. Additional support with other assignments in the submission management area such as data handling and affiliate request handling will also be part of the position.

  • Internship Period: 6 months
  • Working hours: Full-time (min. 18 and max. 37 hours a week)
  • Start date: 1 September 2019
  • Internships are remunerated, if your education track allows
  • A Danish full-time work permit is required


We are looking for an Intern who is passionate about data analytics and good at communication. You are currently studying your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, or another relevant field. Experience in data analysis (Excel) and knowledge of the regulatory or clinical process are preferred. Experience with business visualisation tools (e.g. Qlik Sense) is an advantage.

We expect candidates to have a high quality mindset, be service minded and bring a can-do attitude. Fluency in both oral and written English, excellent communication skills written and orally, ability to manage several tasks in parallel (with supervision) and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you thrive in a busy environment and bring a healthy sense of humor to your work even when the pressure is high. Finally, you must have strong work ethics and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.
