What to expect from your new workplace?

Salling Group's Commercial Unit is a strong and professional purchasing organization. As a part of our team you will secure, that our customers can always find the best Private Label products at the best prices - across Denmark, Poland, Germany and Sweden.

You will be a part of an international team who support and source Private Label products across many different categories such as Food and Nearfood on brands like Premieur, Snaxters, Kingsway and Gelato Classico among others.

Who are you?

On daily basis you will refer to the Int. Sourcing & Private Label director. In the position as Operational Coordinator you will work both independently and across the organization. Therefore, it is very important that you have a big drive, see opportunities rather than limitations, maintain the high level overview and keep the sense of details.

You are - like us - keen to succeed every single time. You thrive as a part of a team where helping each other when needed is necessary to achieve our ambitious targets.

Besides that we expect that you:
  • Have a strong business understanding
  • Have a powerful mindset and sees challenges as opportunities to improve
  • Are detail oriented and work focused and structured
  • Secure that deadlines are being kept
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Open minded with a good sense of humor

It is very important that you show that you are self-driven and take full ownership of your own tasks. Besides that, you are driven to make a difference in the projects you lead and participate in.

What will the job tasks be?

As a part of International Sourcing and in close collaboration with the rest of the team you secure that strong project management and analysis form the basis for decisions and implementation. With the aim to improve everyday life for our customers.

Some of your tasks will be:
  • Tracking and lead of own projects across the department and international stakeholders
  • Constantly improving our processes internally to work smarter
  • Building, maintaining and optimizing internal working tools (Microsoft Office, SAP etc.)
  • Finance tracking in department
  • Compilation of budgets and follow up
