Then you might be the new Supply Chain Planner we are looking for to join our team in GCM Logistics.

About the department
You will be a part of our Logistics department in Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) who is responsible for Novo Nordisk`s outsourced manufacturing. Furthermore GCM sources APIs and semi-finished products into Novo Nordisk production and deliver finished products to customers world-wide.

As our new Supply Chain Planner you will join 14 highly motivated and talented colleagues in GCM Logistics. We are responsible for purchasing and planning of products from our CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organisation - outsourced production partners) world-wide.

The position
As a Supply Chain Planner in GCM, your overall objective is to ensure stable and reliable supply while continuously improving the supply chain. You will be responsible for the daily supply chain planning of selected CMOs and ensuring our products are delivered timely in order to meet our customers' demands. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with our CMOs on planning & deliveries and coordinate & prioritise with internal stakeholders (Operations, warehouse, Quality Control and QA) in order to secure availability of released materials to our customers on time.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the monthly forecast process, performing supply chain analysis, reporting on supply chain KPIs and driving supply chain optimisations.

In this role, you will need good communication and a structured approach to the tasks at hand in order to coordinate with and gain commitment from both internal and external stakeholders.

Our CMOs are located around the world; hence some travel activity can be expected.

The position is temporary (24 months) with the potential of being permanent.

Qualifications
You have an academic degree (preferably a Master's degree) within a relevant discipline e.g. Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or alike combined with around purchasing or supply chain management experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry. You are an experienced user of SAP ECC/APO, see the use of SAP as an advantage in your daily work and will like to develop your SAP skills even further.

You have a positive and open mind-set and you are good at building relationships and communicating across cultures. You have and you enjoy working independently and proactively in a dynamic environment with many simultaneous tasks to coordinate and execute on, changing priorities and strict deadlines. You also have a strong quality mind-set and solid analytical skills. Lastly, fluency in written and spoken English is required.
