Mechanical Engineer for Innovation Hub
If you are looking to join a dynamic and innovative team and bring in your mechanical engineering experience into play, then this is your chance.
About the team
You will be a part of our Innovation Hub team in Manufacturing Development in Diabetes Finished Products, Product Supply. Your working place will be both at our test factory in Kalundborg as well as our global specialist centre in Bagsværd. The team mission is to minimise or eliminate human interaction with our injectable products by means of robotics, automation and optimisations. In our newly established team you will work together with academics, technicians and external development partners covering a wide range of disciplines. We guarantee that you will be exposed to exciting professional challenges and development opportunities.
Your overall objective is to conceive and develop mechanical solutions to optimise our production. You will be responsible for drawing the mechanical designs in CAD, improve the design after test interpretation and furthermore to make the ideas come to live by implementation in our global production network. Your tasks will be very varied and include innovation sprint facilitation, idea generation, design of mechanical solutions, testing and coordination. You will be providing support to projects as well as coordinator and project manager for projects, depending on your experience.
You have an innovative mind set and hold a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar. You have 5 years' experience working in a development environment, where you have practiced your mechanical engineering skills. You have solid CAD experience and a proven track record within mechanical design. You will to some extent be working together with external partners and therefor you must be outgoing and eager to search for the opportunities in partnerships. Experience within robotics, automation, design for aseptic processing, GMP and stainless steel is a great plus. When working as project manager and with external partners - navigating among multiple stakeholder interests - your communication and interpersonal skills are essential tools on your road to success.
